Dr. Ina Grundmann, MD

Family, Integrative, Functional, and Anthroposophical Medicine

Dr. Grundmann is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She has trained in both Family and Integrative Medicine during her residency.

Using an integrative approach, Dr. Grundmann treats the whole person in a dynamic physician-patient partnership combining the best of Family Medicine with scientific-based natural therapies which include bio-identical hormone therapy, armour & nature thyroid, functional medicine, medical acupuncture, and anthroposophical medicine. She treats most medical conditions and complex cases including women’s health, endocrine issues (fatigue with adrenal, thyroid, and hormonal imbalance), diabetes and metabolic imbalance, gastrointestinal digestive issues, pain including arthritis and fibromyalgia, cardiovascular (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, CAD, etc), autoimmune, infections, allergies, and more.

Dr. Grundmann has worked in integrative oncology for many years prescribing Mistletoe therapy, an anthroposophical German-approved immune therapy that is currently in clinical trials at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

    Dr. Amy Kossoff, MD

    Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine & Medical Acupuncture

    Dr. Amy Kossoff, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She is Asst. Professor at the George Washington School of Medicine. She has hospital privileges with Johns Hopkins Medicine at Sibley Hospital. She has been practicing medicine for 30 years and partners in a dynamic physician-patient construct for optimal patient wellness.

    She completed her Integrative Medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona, a program began by Harvard educated Dr. Andrew Weil, MD Ph.D. She is passionate about bridging East meets West with integrating the best of conventional medicine with integrative medicine. She completed Helms Institute Certification in Medical Acupuncture and certified in Hypnotherapy utilizing these tools to work on emotional and mental dynamics. As a skilled physician in Internal & Integrative Medicine, she treats complex cases integrating an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan for you.

    She can function as a primary care provider in managing your medications. She treats most medical conditions to include cardiovascular, fatigue – thyroid/adrenal, women’s health with bioidentical hormone therapy, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, immune allergies, infections, and integrative cancer support as well as pain and stress with anxiety and depressive components.

    For integrative cancer support, Dr. Kossoff works with Immune Mistletoe therapy and IV Vitamin C that is currently in Clinical Trials at Johns Hopkins, as well as oxidation, cellular, peptide, and metabolic therapies.

    She completed medical school at the George Washington School of Medicine and her residency at Medstar Washington Hospital Center / Internal Medicine Hospital. She enjoys her academic post as Asst. Professor at George Washington School of Medicine.

    Dr. Valinda Riggins-Nwadike, MD, MPH, OB-GYN


    Dr. Riggins-Nwadike is proud to provide women’s health to the community. Providing the best of both worlds, she uses bio-identical hormone therapy as well as prescription medication. She treats the whole person with dynamic provider-patient partnership with positive patient outcomes.

    She can perform the basics such as pap smears and routine physicals, or perform gynecological surgery. She can address fertility and birth control needs.

    Dr. Riggins-Nwadike is a member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has worked as a physician in a hospital setting for over 15 years delivering babies. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hahnemann University, her medical degree at University of Illinois College of Medicine, her masters of public health at Columbia University, and Bachelor’s at Johns Hopkins University. She speaks fluent Spanish. In her spare time, she spends time with her husband, a veterinarian, and her daughter as well as four-leggeds, and is an avid jogger.

    Dr. Gelane Gemechisa, MD

    Dr. Gelane Gemechisa, MD, known as ‘Dr. G’ provides primary care coupled with an integrative approach to treat the whole person in a dynamic patient-physician partnership. Dr. G combines the best of Primary Care with medical scientific based natural therapies.

    Dr G works with a naturopath, T Jai. Together they treat most medical conditions with focus in women’s health, endocrine (thyroid/adrenal support for fatigue), diabetes, gastrointestinal, pain, cardiovascular, infections, allergies, and much more.

    They treat with bio-identical hormone therapy, armour thyroid, and natural therapies for women’s health and endocrine support. They can provide optimal care for menopause, osteoporosis, uterine fibroids, fatigue/insomnia & endocrine imbalance, diabetes & metabolic syndrome, interstitial cystitis, urinary tract infections, and endometriosis.

    Dr. G has worked in both hospitals and medical clinics. She is adept in caring for challenging, complex cases.
