Charlottesville Location 

We welcome Dr. Wallisa Vaughn, MD, board certified in Family Medicine to our Charlottesville location. She provides primary care coupled with an integrative approach to treat the whole person in a dynamic patient-physician partnership. She has extensive training and expertise in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Vaughn treats most medical conditions with focus on women’s health, endocrine support (thyroid/adrenal) for fatigue, diabetes, cardiovascular support, GI support, pain, infections, allergies, autoimmune with immune therapies and much more.

She works with bioidentical hormone therapy for women’s health, armour thyroid for endocrine support, and natural therapies for adrenal support. Dr. Vaughn is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, A4M that combines training in Integrative, Functional, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine. She has been practicing medicine for over a decade working in hospitals and medical clinics that includes successful patient outcomes on complex cases.

Dr. Vaughn grew up in a military family where her father was chaplain for the Air Force at the Pentagon. With this background, she is compassionate and focused. She is a keen listener. She identifies underlying causes of dis-ease and is exceptionally skilled in diagnosis. Valinda Riggins-Nwadike, MD, MPH, OB-GYN

Burke Location 

Aside from delivering babies at the hospital with a midwife on her team, Dr. Riggins-Nwadike is proud to provide women’s health to the community. Providing the best of both worlds, she uses bio-identical hormone therapy as well as prescription medication. She treats the whole person with dynamic provider-patient partnership with positive patient outcomes. She can perform the basics such as pap smears and routine physicals, or perform gynecological surgery. She can address fertility and birth control needs. Dr. Riggins-Nwadike is a member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has worked as a physician in a hospital setting for over 15 years delivering babies. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hahnemann University, her medical degree at University of Illinois College of Medicine, her masters of public health at Columbia University, and Bachelor’s at Johns Hopkins University. She speaks fluent Spanish. On her spare time, she spends time with her husband, a veterinarian and her daughter as well as four-leggeds, as is an avid jogger running 2 miles a week. Avtar Robert Moore, DO Osteopathic Medicine

Lexington Location 

Dr. Moore is a physician who treats many medical conditions whether it be for chronic pain and injuries, or for simple issues like fatigue or for most complex cases. He specializes in Preventive Medicine and Neuro-muscular-skeletal medicine, a specialty in treating pain with Osteopathic Manual Therapy (addressing muscular, nervous and skeletal systems). He treats injuries (falls, auto accidents, sports) for spinal, back, neck and brain (headaches, concussions, brain trauma).

Dr. Moore states, ‘Along with your history and physical, I begin diagnosing and treating most medical issues with my hands.
